Call for Papers and Panels for IASIA 2024 Conference

The International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) is thrilled to announce the opening of the call for papers and panels for the IASIA 2024 Conference, to be held in Bloemfontein, South Africa, from July 1 to 5, 2024. Under the theme "Alternative Service Delivery and Sustainable Societal Responsiveness," this conference promises to be a dynamic platform for discussing innovative approaches to public governance and administration.

In collaboration with the University of the Free State (UFS) and the Association of Southern African Schools and Departments of Public Administration and Management (ASSADPAM), the IASIA 2024 Conference will feature plenary sessions addressing contemporary public governance themes, special panels and forums, sessions of the IASIA Working Groups, and a PhD seminar.

The call for papers and panels for the IASIA 2024 Conference is now open, inviting researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to submit their contributions. We encourage submissions that address various aspects of alternative service delivery and sustainable societal responsiveness, spanning theoretical, empirical, and practical perspectives. In addition to the conference theme, submissions on other themes related to public governance are also welcome.

It was established in its current format in 2002 to promote the interests of these disciplines and of the scholars active in these fields.

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) joins the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) in honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Allan Rosenbaum, a visionary leader in public administration, at a special Celebration of Life event. The event will take place on Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 8:15 PM at The Mayflower Hotel’s Chinese Room in Washington, D.C.

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) and the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), Government of India, unveiled a landmark publication, “Viksit Bharat@2047: Governance Transformed”, during the IIAS-DARPG India Conference 2025. The book, part of the IIAS Public Governance Series, provides a comprehensive exploration of India’s public administration, offering a strategic roadmap for achieving developed nation status by 2047.

The European Group for Public Administration (EGPA), the Regional Group of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS), is pleased to invite scholars, researchers, and practitioners from around the world to participate in the EGPA 2025 Conference, which will take place from August 26 to 29, 2025, in the historic city of Glasgow, Scotland, UK.
