Institute of Public Administration (IPA), Bahrain

We proudly welcome HE. Dr. Shaika Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaij Al Khalifa as the newly appointed Director General of the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) in Bahrain. Established in 2006 by the decree of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, IPA is dedicated to achieving sustainable development in alignment with the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the National Action Charter.

IPA plays a pivotal role in enhancing government performance, focusing on policies, strategies, resource management, change management, and the development of government services. Dr. Sh. Rana Bint Isa Bin Duaj Al Khalifa's leadership will undoubtedly contribute to advancing the Institute's vision of developed government performance for sustainable improvement.

École Nationale Supérieure de l'Administration (ENSA), Morocco

Our heartfelt congratulations to Nada Biaz, the newly appointed Directrice Générale of l'École Nationale Supérieure de l'Administration (ENSA) in Morocco. ENSA Maroc serves as a vital educational platform, bringing together various ENSAs across the country to facilitate easy access to essential educational resources for students.

Nada Biaz's leadership will play a crucial role in shaping the educational landscape at ENSA, fostering a collaborative and enriching environment for students. It is with the greatest sorrow that we heard the passing away of our dear colleague and friend Dr. Fabienne Maron on December 30th, 2024.  This sad event came as a shock to all of us as we were away on the end of year break. Our greatest regret is that we were not around when she said good bye. 

Fabienne will remain as an icon of IIAS. She joined us in 2000 upon graduation with a PhD from UCLouvain. During her 24 year long service with IIAS, she was key to the spectacular development of the European Group ...
