The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) is preparing for a important moment in its governance: the election of its next President for the 2025–2028 term. 

With the recent withdrawal of Geraldine Fraser-Moleketi, the election now moves forward with two highly respected candidates, each presenting a clear vision for the future of IIAS.

The hearings, held in February 2025, are available to all members. We encourage the IIAS community to revisit these presentations and reflect on the diverse perspectives, priorities, and leadership styles put forward by each nominee.

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) has entered a decisive phase in the selection of its next President for the 2025–2028 term. In February, the IIAS Council of Administration convened to conduct hearings with the shortlisted candidates. Following thoughtful deliberation and discussion, the Council has resolved to forward three distinguished candidates to the General Assembly for election:

The IIAS is governed by its Council of Administration (CoA), which was last elected during the IIAS-EUROMENA Conference in Rome in 2022, and will now be renewed during the upcoming IIAS-DARPG India Conference 2025.
