IASIA 2023 Conference Announces Preliminary Program and Distinguished Keynote Speakers

The International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) is pleased to announce the preliminary program of the highly anticipated IASIA 2023 Conference. The event will bring together renowned experts, scholars, and professionals from around the world to discuss and exchange ideas on public administration and governance.

The IASIA 2023 Conference will feature an exceptional lineup of keynote speakers who are recognized for their expertise and contributions to the field. 

The confirmed keynote speakers are as follows:

Arsenio Balisacan - Secretary, National Economic and Development Authority
With over 35 years of experience in development policy, governance, and administration, Dr. Balisacan has held various high-ranking positions in academia and government. He is currently serving as the Secretary of the National Economic and Development Authority in the Philippines, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and insights.
Dalisay Brawner - President, University of Makati Educational Development Foundation
As the President of the University of Makati Educational Development Foundation Inc., Dr. Brawner has been instrumental in advancing education and educational administration. Her extensive experience and expertise make her a prominent figure in the field. She will share her valuable perspectives during the conference.
Eko Prasojo - President, Asian Group of Public Administration; Professor, Universitas Indonesia
Professor Prasojo is a distinguished figure in public administration and governance. With an impressive academic background and a notable career in the Indonesian government, Professor Prasojo brings a unique perspective to the conference. He is the President of the Asian Group of Public Administration and serves as the executive secretary of the Steering Committee of National Bureaucratic Reform.
Ronald Mendoza - Member, UN Committee of Experts of Public Administration; Regional Director, IDInsight
As a Regional Director for Southeast Asia at IDInsight, a prominent policy research organization, Dr. Mendoza has made significant contributions to international development policy and public administration reforms. His expertise and research background have earned him recognition both nationally and internationally.


The IASIA 2023 Conference will provide a unique platform for participants to engage in stimulating discussions, exchange best practices, and forge valuable connections within the field of public administration. Attendees will benefit from the keynote speeches, as well as a wide range of panel sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities.

The International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA) is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to our vibrant community, further strengthening our commitment to advancing public administration education and practice worldwide.

On August 23, 2024, the ICAPA Steering Committee convened remotely to discuss nominations for the positions of Chair and Vice Chair of the Accreditation Committee, as well as for membership on the committee. 

The committee reviewed a total of 21 nominations, which included candidates for the Chair and Vice Chair.  After thorough consideration of the vetting materials and deliberations, the following unanimous nominations were decided:
