Kenya Joins IIAS as a Member State

Diogo Pereira,

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) is pleased to announce the official membership of the Republic of Kenya as a new IIAS Member State.

The inclusion of Kenya as an IIAS Member State marks a significant milestone in fostering global cooperation and sharing knowledge in the field of public governance and brings invaluable perspectives and insights that will enrich the IIAS network of scholars and practitioners.

In tandem with the membership announcement, the IIAS Council of Administration has announced during the Governance Week, in June, that the IIAS 2024 Conference has been granted to the Kenya School of Government (KSG). The event will be held in Mombasa, from February 26-29, and will focus on the theme of "International Collaborative Governance."

The IIAS 2024 Conference promises to be a forum for groundbreaking discussions, innovative ideas, and collaborations that transcend borders. Participants from around the world will have the opportunity to engage with leading experts, policymakers, and practitioners in various fields of administrative sciences, building lasting connections and fostering collective strategies for advancing good governance and public administration practices.

With Kenya as the host country, attendees will also experience the richness of its cultural heritage, stunning landscapes, and warm hospitality, making the IIAS 2024 Conference a truly memorable and enriching experience.

The IIAS looks forward to a fruitful partnership with Kenya as it joins the esteemed ranks of IIAS Member States. Together, we strive to improve public governance research, education, and practice worldwide.
