It is with the greatest sorrow that we heard the passing away of our dear colleague and friend Dr. Fabienne Maron on December 30th, 2024.  This sad event came as a shock to all of us as we were away on the end of year break. Our greatest regret is that we were not around when she said good bye. 

Fabienne will remain as an icon of IIAS. She joined us in 2000 upon graduation with a PhD from UCLouvain. During her 24 year long service with IIAS, she was key to the spectacular development of the European Group ...

In a productive meeting held at the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP) in Mexico, in October 2024, leading representatives from the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) and INAP gathered to discuss avenues for collaboration and the prospect of re-establishing INAP’s membership with IIAS as a national section.


We are excited to announce that the IIAS-DARPG India Conference 2025 will be hosted at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from February 10-14, 2025. This year's theme, "Next Generation Administrative Reforms: Empowering Citizens and Reaching the Last Mile," will bring together leading experts, policymakers, and practitioners from around the globe to explore transformative approaches in public administration.
